Compass Insurance has served customers and has been a trusted advisor since 1952. We worked with them to carry the legacy forward and bring new meaning and life to their brand. Creating a new logomark, color scheme, and messaging, we gave new meaning and purpose as Compass, to both guide and protect. An arrow and a shield. We then expanded this new branding and messaging to identity, signage, and a brand new web presence.

How do you bring an old logo into the future? Our team wanted to bring som enew ideas together with a new contemporary look and feel.
So we sketched various concepts and landed on the new mark, a shield with an arrow to navigate. The overall shape of the icon, the shield – represents protection for customers when they need coverage. The top right corner is that of a modern GPS arrow, visualizing the direction offered to their customers to know where to go and which policy fits best.
